Scrie-ne un mesaj Vezi locatiileThe spot welding process is used to join two or more thin sheets up to 3 mm thick per layer. It is a resistance welding process and consists in the use of two copper electrodes placed on the tongs of the welding machine which, by passing electric current and applying pressure on the material, fuse the parts by local melting. Spot welding is used in fields such as automobile manufacturing, aerospace, metal fabrication, metal fabrication, and metal workshops. Spot welding machines can be portable or shop-owned, depending on the location and requirements of the job. Industrial equipment also requires additional cooling, which is why most professional spot welders are water-cooled. Constructively, the spot welder can be dedicated for this process or it can also be equipped with a body straightening function where consumables such as triangular wads, welding nails, round wads can be used. The car body straightener allows the gradual adjustment of the material by means of the pull gun.
